I am Tired

Last night and yesterday it snowed. A lot. When I woke up, there was a two hour delay. Then I had to rush and eat breakfast. Then my friend and her mom and brother came to pick me up to drive to another friends house. But before we went there we had to go to the doctor for her brother. Then we went to the other friends house to practice orchestra stuff.

Tired

I am very tired. I think I should take a nap. I made banana pancakes this morning. They were good. I made them all by myself. Yay! But my brother helped cut the banana. My sister is grumpy this morning.

Ash Wednesday

Today is Ash Wednesday. Yesterday was Fat Tuesday. We had waffles for dinner. It was good.I ate a lot. We put Chicken Pot Pie filling on top. They were very delicious. I am working at church tonight. I am the boat bearer.

Today was average. It was kind of boring. Group pictures got taken. I was in two. One for orchestra and another for student council. I an tired. Happy Fat Tuesday!

It is a snow day yet again! I plan on practicing Viola and Keyboard and playing on the computer. And watching tv. And maybe sledding. And reading and playing with my dog,Wahoo. And maybe writing a letter to my pen pal in New York. And looking up the word"quaint".

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! Yay! No school! That makes it feel even more great. But I feel sad because on the day that I hit my head and had to go home was on the same day as 6th grade pictures. I wasn't in the picture, and now the picture is on posters all around the school, reminding me how I wasn't being careful that day. At least it snowed today.

Yay!

School got out two ours early today. Yay! But my bus was late and when we got home there was a car crash. Luckily, it wasn't anybody we know. Maybe our hoouse will be on the news. I hope so.

How Quaint

I love to say "How Quaint". I don't even know what it means! Ha ha! How Quaint. I keep forgetting to put the "i" in it. Then I have to go back and write it all over again. Oh well. Once I said "How Quaint" to my brother. He said I was quaint. How Quaint.

Smoothie

I love to eat smoothies. I had one this morning. It was delicious, if I do say so myself. Ha ha. I made it myself. It had cherries, banana,mango, and pineapple. Oh, and strawberry yogurt. And milk.

I went to a party last night. It was very hot there because there were so many people.It was fun though. I had a good time, but I was tired afterward.

Solo Friday

In orchestra, we have class every other day. Now, every Friday we have class is Solo Friday. This Friday I will play "Musette". From Suzuki Book 2.

KidPix

I finally got the KidPix cd-rom working! I played it on a lot of my time yesterday. Ireally like that game. It is so much fun! It is a children's art program. You can make pictures, drawings, and slideshows. Lots of other things, too. So much fun.

Interesting

I feel very interesting today. Kind of bubbly inside, like Ginger Ale. But my head feels fine. Kind of light, though. And I feel like a giant took me and put my head in one hand and my feet in the other, and squished me together.

Snow

I love the snow. I like being cold better than being hot. I love going sledding and snow tubing. Winter is fun, but Spring is way much better because of my birthday. It is snowing right now. I really, really, really hope it sticks.

Games

I like Monopoly,four square, Yahtzee, jump rope, flag football, bowling, Sharks and minnows, Hand games, Scrabble, bingo, and pit. I like a lot of other things, too. I also like to swim, but that is more of a sport.

Star Wars

I am going to play on the Xbox today with Greg. I like to be Princess Leia and Luke. And probably Yoda, but I've never been him before. Ewoks are cute. I wish I could have one as a pet. Theat would be fun. But I love my dog.

Viola

I love to play Viola. But some of the time it is hard. I am not good at the F scale. But I am trying and learning. Very slowly. I like to play in the Solo and ensemble festival once a year. It is a lot of fun. The orchestra teacher is very nice unless he is angry. When he is angry he either yells or stares and speaks very quietly. I also like to play in the concerts. I am glad to be in the middle school orchestra.

Food

I like cake. I do not like asparagus. I like potato chips. I do not like omelettes. I like butterfinger bars. I do not like dark chocolate. I like pancakes. I do not like donuts. I like bagels and cream cheese. I do not like eggplant. I like Kathleen's polenta, but I don't like other kinds of polenta. i like Kathleen's polenta because it tastes like mashed potatoes. I like sweet potatoes. The only way I like asparagus is with Hollandaise sauce, which I also like. I like some types of calimari. I love all kinds of ravioli. I like lasagna, too. I like mostly all kinds of pasta. I like soda. But most of all, I love organic food!

More Time

I get more time now. You have to blog a lot to get more time. You also have to act nice and keep up your grades. And if you blog a lot but then you stop, you get your extra time taken away. Usually I only get a half of an hour a day. Except on weekends I get one hour. Now I get two 45 minute sessions. Yay!

Concert

I had a concert yesterday. I play Viola. We played Dragon Hunter, El Toro, Salsa Verde, and Hotaka Sunset. In that order. We played first. I was very, very nervous. I don't think I was ready. It was at Henry A. Wise school. We had to leave after the orchestra played. I wanted to hear the band play. Oh, well. It was fun. But it was kind of scary though. I'm glad to be in Orchestra.

A Normal Day [in the life of me]

I get up in the morning, between 5:00 and 7:00. Then I eat breakfast [cereal, toast, bagel, smoothie,etc.]. I get dressed, make my lunch and get ready for school. I go to the bus stop. I go to school. I get off the bus. I wait for them to let me go to my classroom. If I have orchestra I go drop off my instrument. I go to class. I do my Warm-Up. I go to specials. I eat snack. I do my morning work. If I have Orchestra I go to Orchestra. I eat lunch. I go to recess. I do my silent reading. I get on the bus. I go home. I eat snack. I do homework. I get on the computer. I watch a movie. I eat dinner. I go to bed.
